| LET IT BE KNOWN!
i loved joshua radin's music before the soundtrack to the last kiss was released. on which my favorite song of his, "star mile," is nicely situated in the second slot.
just thought that i would clear that up.
| I am leaving Friday!!!
I had a picnic today where I met other Miami students/alums.
I won a shirt.
I am event-less otherwise.
Except I got a new phone, and I hate to say, a Northface jacket....It's okay, I know that I am a sellout -- but it is going to be cold and I need the best product to keep me warm!!
I will miss everyone so much!!
Ahhhhh

this is part of my dad's side of the family. last week we had our family reunion at joe wheeler lake in alabama. however, the neidert family is originally from tennessee -- well, actually we are of german descent. my great grandmother had 11 kids -- my grandmother is one of them. my dad is the oldest of 33 grandchildren, and I am a member of the ever increasing great grandchildren generation. i think that there are around 4-6 great great grandchildren. we try not to be too picky about particulars. if you come, you are part of the fun. everyone knows everyone else.

this is the picture from the last reunion in 2004. more people were here.
| i played tennis with molly and michael at about nine this morning. we are all at about the same skill level. and it is not a high skill level. i want to get good enough to be an okay tennis player. (ambitious, huh!)
afterwards michael and i went to the pool for several hours. it was really fun. we basically had the pool to ourselves. i am a little pink on the cheeks.
michael had a baseball game tonight. it was so humid -- i was sweating so much. it wasn't the heat that got to you, for the air was just so thick. ugh. but i love watching him play. regardless.
tomorrow i leave for orientation -- aka basically an extended period for registration. we have a fun orientation right before school starts.
i'll see you when i see you. call me if you want to come to the pool.

| i have worked somewhere for seven of the last eight days.
this is not normal.
and i decided that i was going to treat myself because of all the money i've made.
and then i found that there was nothing that i wanted to buy.
so i went home and cleaned house before the family comes back from gulf shores/alaska.
laundry is fun.
dishes aren't bad when they are your own...i don't jam cleaning up after other people.
this was a boring ass post.
i forgive you if you completely skipped over it.
but if you made it this far...rock on.
